Hill Country Karate is a community sponsored program which
teaches American karate in a positive, professional manner. The primary goal of Hill Country Karate
instructors is to develop students mentally as well as physically by focusing on attitude, respect and
discipline.
Hill Country Karate (H.C.K.) is a charter member of the Texas Association of Sport Karate as well as the "Superfoot System".
T.A.S.K. currently teaches in over 50 locations across the State of Texas and is affiliated with the
North American Sport Karate Association (NASKA) and the International Sport Karate Association (ISKA).
H.C.K. was started by Nick W. Smith in June of 1983 at one location in New Braunfels, Texas.

Hill Country Karate is reopening many of its locations this fall.
Sponsors that are coming back with in person classes include San Marcos Parks and Recreation, Judson I.S.D. and Comal I.S.D.,
which brings HCK back to 25 active locations where students can train!
